  • What is the tire manufacturing process?

    Procedure 1: Internal mixing process

    The internal mixing process is the process of mixing carbon black, natural/synthetic rubber, oil, additives, accelerators and other raw materials together and processing them in the internal mixer to produce "rubber".

    Procedure 2: Rubber parts preparation process

    The preparation process of rubber parts includes six main sections. In this process, all semi-finished rubber components that make up the tire will be prepared, some of which have been preliminarily assembled. The six sections are:

    Section 1: Extrusion

    The rubber is fed into the extruder head to extrude different semi-finished rubber parts: tread, sidewall/sub-mouth and triangular rubber strip.

    Section 2: Calendering

    The raw material cord passes through the calender and a thin layer of rubber is hung on both sides of the cord. The final product is called "cord". The raw material cord is mainly nylon and polyester.

    Section 3: Bead forming

    The bead is made by winding many steel wires after hanging glue. The compound used for bead has special properties. When vulcanized, the compound and steel wire can be closely bonded together.
  • What is the classification of tyres?

    Automobile tires can be divided into pneumatic tires and solid tires according to the structure of the carcass. Most modern cars use pneumatic tyres. Pneumatic tires can be divided into high pressure tire, low pressure tire and ultra-low pressure tire according to the level of intra-tire air pressure. Low pressure tires are widely used in all kinds of automobiles. Pneumatic tires can be divided into tubular tires and tubeless tires according to their composition and structure. Cars generally use tubeless tires. According to the arrangement of tire inner cord and buffer layer, the tire can be divided into radial tire and skew tire. Radial tires are widely used in automobiles. The tire side is marked.
  • What is the function of tyres?

    Tire is one of the most important components in automobiles. Its main functions are as follows:

    1. Support the whole weight of the vehicle, bear the load of the vehicle, and transfer the force and moment in other directions;

    2. Transfer the torque of traction and braking to ensure good adhesion between wheel and road surface to improve the power, braking and trafficability of the vehicle; mitigate the impact of vehicle driving together with vehicle suspension, and attenuate the resulting vibration;

    3. Prevent severe vibration and early damage of automotive parts, adapt to the high-speed performance of vehicles and reduce the noise while driving, ensure the safety, handling stability, comfort and energy-saving economy of driving.
